SEED’s Family Resource Day is coming up on Saturday, May 19, Noon-3:00 PM, at Twin Canyon in Lafayette. This fun, engaging event will provide an opportunity for kids and families to get hands-on exposure to local services for kids with special needs, in a casual outdoor environment.
Highlights of the event will include:
- Parent education talks: Assessment Basics, Parent Support, and Social Thinking (child care during talks to be provided by PRO AuPair)
- Service providers: karate and crossfit for kids with special needs, social skills group hikes, Canine Companions for Independence, energy healing, haircuts for kids with special needs, Challenger baseball, music therapy, and more.
- Entertainment and fun: Barbecue lunch, Jungle James animal presentation, archery
