Either A Really Good Party – Or A 2.9 Shaker Just Rolled Through Danville

SHARE

An earthwobbler measuring 2.9 Magnitude rolled through Danville at 8:43 p.m. Friday, just under some homes on Soda Place and Richard Lane.

There were no immediate reports of damage caused by the shaker, which turned up a day after our observance of the Great Quake and Fire of 1906, but our Social Media interfaces quickly heated up with commentary from locals who felt the temblor.

  1. A flurry underway so we’re dancing around the house to see if we can set off a big one.

  2. Definitely got our attention. Husband always gets really frisky after earthquakes.

    • @Lissette – Uh, frisky as in wants to jump in the pool with his clothes on or the other kind…?
