Lamorinda, San Ramon Scouts Spend Saturday Restoring The Crosses In Lafayette

SHARE

Members of Troops 237 / 204 (Orinda) and Troop 888 (San Ramon), hereafter known by this site as “The 24/680’s Finest,” spent their Saturday morning in service to help repair, paint and replace crosses on Lafayette’s “Cross Hill,” a deed their leaders tell us was undertaken in honor of our fallen soldiers.

We can’t think of a more appropriate action – or a more appropriate day to perform it. Scouts lead the way!

We’re not sure, yet, who snapped the photo but if he or she would like it known, please do advise us.

  1. Oorah boys. May you never have to wear another uniform. But if you do be proud as you were today.

  2. The crosses, stars, crescents, et al. are symbols of remembrance and resistance. Nice work! May our dark overlords rue the day they wooed ignorance and arrogance over charity and our common humanity!
