Widespread Power Outage Darkens More Than 5,000 Homes In Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill Thursday

PG&E line crews are out and attempting to pinpoint the origin of a widespread loss of power reported in neighborhoods through much of Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill.

The outage was reported at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday and more than 5,000 homes are believed to be affected, possibly more. Motorists are reporting traffic signals out on Pleasant Hill Road.
