The California Department of Parks and Recreation released the following:

Mount Diablo State Park is currently closed due to extreme fire conditions (high winds, dry fuels and low relative humidity). For your safety, please avoid this and any other areas that are closed during this time. The park will reopen when extreme fire conditions subside. Thank you for your cooperation and please be safe.
