Reader Peter Armstrong was on Lafayette Circle shortly after a venerable old Eucalyptus tree guarding the entrance to La Finestra restaurant finally gave way Sunday, draping some nearby cars in a leafy embrace and closing the road to through traffic.
No injuries that we’ve heard of and we can’t remember if La Finestra has a fireplace or not, but…
