The Cougars of Campolindo High stunned the Eagles of Bakersfield Christian High with a unerring passing and running game on the Eagles’ home field Saturday, taking the game and securing another CIF Division 4, AA State Championship pennant for their home gym.
Celebrations erupted in Kern County and spread to the dens (no pun intended) of current and former Cougars all too happy to mark the victory.
