The latest litter of Campolindo Cougars travel to the wilds of Kern County Saturday to take their shot at the CIF Division 4, AA State Bowl Championship in a game with the Eagles of Bakersfield Christian High School.
The Cougs play Bakersfield Christian at 6 p.m. with the stadium gates opening at 4 p.m. for what we are told may be a sizable contingent of supportive former Cougars and player families.
Tickets are $12, seniors are $8, and anyone under eight-years-old gets in free.
A couple of additional caveats for traveling families hoping to do a little tailgating before the game: No open flames, smoking or alcohol will be allowed on the premises, or in the parking lot of the adjacent Bridge Bible Church.
Good luck, men!
Heading there ourselves tomorrow AM. And if the last two years are any indication, the party is afterward in the hotel.
Have fun – send pictures!
GO COUGARS! I want to go…
You should… we’re hearing there’s a heck of an after-party in the hotel post game!
Bakersfield Marriott has no idea what’s about to happen…
No more rooftop TV Tosses into the pool, though, the word is out on you guys! Worse than Led Zeppelin!
Thanks to some advance leg work by very involved parents the Marriott staff couldn’t have been nicer or more prepared for the pre and post activities. Kudos to all, but most of all to the team and coaching staff for another great Campo Football season.
Nice! Good to hear…
