Our colleagues at East County Today captured a harrowing moment at the scene of a 2-Alarm blaze in Antioch this morning, their camera present as the roof of an apartment complex burning on San Jose Drive gave way – dousing the unlucky firefighter in an unwanted shower of embers and soot.
The unidentified firefighter was treated for minor injuries, his colleagues report. Our thanks to ECT for this shot, a reminder that anything can happen in this line of work.
