Massive Power Outage Darkens Much Of Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk Thursday

A widespread power outage has left an estimated 35,000 residents in Alamo, Danville and Blackhawk in the dark Thursday.

Crews are working to repair downed power lines on Crow Canyon Road though the precise cause of the outage has yet to be pinpointed.

Resident Readers reporting power went out around 7:30 a.m. and appears to be slowly coming back (9:05 a.m.) as PG&E crews address the issue. An official estimate for full restoration of power has been set at noon.
