Police were called to the resort at 3:40 p.m. Monday, August 29, and found Brenda Chodroff of Lafayette out of the pool with resort staff attempting cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. Fire Department personnel took over attempts to revive the victim but were unsuccessful, according to local reports.
