Moragans may have noted the new application of paint on Painted Rocks above town, bearing a single name “Cyrus.”
Dr. Cyrus Chan (Campolindo Class of ’95) died April 21 after an 18-month battle with colon cancer – cutting short an active life one year shy of his surgical residency at the University of Toledo.
He was 39.
Cyrus and his twin brother Curtis grew up in the Campolindo neighborhood of Moraga.
His friends and colleagues set up the Cyrus Chan Legacy Scholarship to help future medical students and residents annually in honor of him.
