San Ramon’s “Bad Motorscooter” Engages Danville/San Ramon Police In Game Of Hide And Seek

SHARE
A local man has been playing an escalating game of hide and seek with police in San Ramon lately.

On Thursday, after a lengthy game of cat and mouse which saw him ranging north from San Ramon into Danville via the Iron Horse Trail, a 25-year-old Danville man was arrested after what was described as a “minor scuffle” outside the Danville Burger King after officers spotted his motorbike parked outside. The incident was witnessed by several readers who reached out to this site via our Tip Line.

Police said Joseph Bozzie, 25, of Danville, was driving recklessly on a green, child-size Kawasaki KX65 when San Ramon officers gave chase.

Police in San Ramon said the motorbiker is known to both San Ramon and Danville police, has been arrested and counseled several times about his driving in recent days but appears reluctant to absorb that wisdom.

  1. There’s just something about the whine of a Kawasaki 250 that makes a girl’s knees go all wobbly. Did they let him get his wopper before they arrested him????

  2. It’s all fun and games until he runs over a kid or my grandma on the trail. I hope they let him go but permanently impound his bike
