Lamorinda police, supported by a sheriff’s helicopter and at least one canine team, searched the neighborhoods adjacent to Highway 24 in Orinda Sunday after a man ran from them after a traffic stop.
An initial description of the man police are looking for is of a Hispanic male, 6′, 200lbs, wearing a lime green Under Armor shirt.
The search, which got underway around 12:30 p.m., was called off at approximatley 2 p.m. The man wanted by police remained at large at that time.
