If you’re not safe and warm at home or up in the mountains sliding down a ski slope you’re out and about on local roads this Saturday and you probably know that can be a little hairy.

There have been a number of thrills and spills out there today, with a bicyclist down on St. Mary’s Road this morning and helped to his feet by concerned two-wheeled colleagues.

Reader Pamela Dunn came across a tree on southbound Taylor Blvd. after it gave up its hold on Terra Firma and collapsed into the roadway between Grayson and Withers.

A grey day, overall… and better with a fireplace and something hot to drink.
