Martinez police are investigating a morning shooting incident on Fountainhead Ct. which left a man with a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower leg.
Police received “multiple reports” of shots heard in the area at 11:14 a.m. Saturday and, upon arrival, officers located the 29-year-old male victim in his residence. The victim, who was not identified by police, was transported to a medical facility for his injuries.
A residence in the area also was struck by a bullet, according to police, the round missing a woman home at the time. She was not injured.
Police say initial investigations have determined that the victim knows the suspectd, that person feeling the area in a gold four-door sedan. Suspect and vehicle are still outstanding, according to police, and no detailed information or description was given about the alleged shooter.
