Arrests

  • Dec. 27 – (Unknown charge) 2:54 a.m., El Nido Ranch Road at St. Stephens

Burglary

  • Dec. 29 – (Commercial Burglary) 3:49 p.m., 60 block Don Gabriel Way

Auto Theft

  • Dec. 29 – (Stolen Car Recovered) 8:24 a.m., behind Orinda Motors

Auto Burglary

  • Dec. 27 – 10:46 a.m., St. Johns Church
  • Dec. 29 – 7:17 p.m., Wilder Sports Fields
  • Dec. 29 – 7:13 p.m, Wilder Sports Fields

Vandalism

  • Dec. 29 – 7:27 p.m., Wilder Sports Fields

  2. Add mail theft also. We were out walking, found a pile of ripped open letters and Christmas cards with Orinda addresses, and turned them into the police. Even in this collection they discarded, there was one banking statement and new insurance cards.

    • Absolutely, Mr. Napoleon… we’re getting so many reports of mail dumps and box rifling these days we’re printing only the most egregious cases… and we know they’re all bad, we just don’t want to overwhelm the readership…
