Walnut Creek police are seeking witnesses to an early morning altercation at Mel’s Diner, located on the corner of N. Main St. and Cypress Ave., after one of the people involved suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized as a result.
Investigators said the incident occurred at around 1:50 a.m. on Dec. 20. A 24-year-old Pleasant Hill man, Bryce Halliday, was detained nearby and placed under arrest,
according to police.
