A NEWS24/680 reader found herself on the scene of a rollover accident on Taylor Blvd. Saturday, snapping a picture as police rolled up to extricate the driver – who was uninjured.
It turned out Martinez police had been called on to check out a “suspicious car” in Virginia Hills and when an officer approached the vehicle in question the driver allegedly sped away.
The short pursuit ended on Taylor, the driver explaining he had been smoking marijuana when the officer approached and… there you have it. The driver was uninjured. No immediate word on charges.
