MOFD Firefighters Offer Photo-Op With Santa – And A Chance To Give A Kid A Toy Saturday

SHARE

Looking for a localized photo of the kids with the Fella in Red for the family Christmas card? Here’s your chance.

MOFD firefighters will be providing transportation for Santa to and from the traditional Orinda tree lighting ceremony in Village Square at 5 p.m. Saturday, but word is out that kids and families who bring a toy by Station 45 at 33 Orinda Way around 5:30 p.m. or so will also be able to get up close and personal with the Jolly Old Guy.

Perfect chance to get a snapshot of the kids and get in the spirit this Christmas. Bring an unwrapped toy for a kid who may not ordinarily get one and revel in that warm feeling you’ll get.

Bring your own camera or phone, parents, firefighters will be organizing the toy dropoff and performing other Elf-type duties.
