Bad Elves Pick Through Cars In Orinda; Holiday Cheer Prevails

Gearing up for the Holidays and some heavy Family Time and everyone is happy and warm and ready for egg nog, right? Well, mostly so, but there are also some bad elves at work locally – some of them plundering cars locally.

Here is a breakdown of major incidents handled by the men and women of the Orinda Police Department last week:

Auto Theft

  • Nov. 21 – 9:41 a.m., St. Stephens Episcopal Church

Auto Burglaries

  • Nov. 15 – 2:25 p.m., Orinda Theater
  • Nov. 17 – 8:22 p.m., Village Square Shopping Center
  • Nov. 18 – 7:26 a.m. 10 block of Irwin Way
  • Nov. 18 – 8:22 a.m., 10 block of Irwin Way
  • Nov. 18 – 8:56 a.m., 10 block of Irwin Way
  • Nov. 18 – 8:54 a.m., 10 block of Irwin Way
  • Nov. 18 – 9:52 a.m., 10 of Irwin Way
