Devil Mountain Coffee House

Acoustic meets indie folk when Tish Hinojosa performs at Devil Mountain Coffee House Friday, November 20.

The Austin based singer songwriter is known for her contemporary music style that blends country, folk and Mexican love ballads and border songs.

Her personal, intimate, and independent performances have won awards and accolades.  The Washington Post wrote, “A talented songwriter with an understated but utterly unaffected delivery… vivid… touching… pointed… playful… engaging. A rare gift for melody that’s perfect for Hinojosa’s lovely, relaxed soprano.”

With accolades that include playing at the White House at the invitation of President Clinton and Hillary Clinton, Linda Ronstadt recording her own version of Tish’s song Donde Voy, and teaming up with artists like Joan Baez, Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakam, Nanci Griffith, Pete Seeger, Flaco Jimenez, and Los Lobos, Hinojosa’s sound has an undeniable and far reaching appeal.

This concert is a part of a series and will be held at the Devil Mountain Coffee House at 55 Eckley Lane in Walnut Creek on Friday November 20. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Concert begins at 8 p.m.

Requested donation amount is $20 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 15. Children under 6 years old are free. (No one will be turned away at the door for inability to pay)
