Martinez McDonalds Robbed At Gunpoint Tuesday Night

Martinez police say a man walked up to the drive-through window of the McDonalds restaurant at 1185 Arnold Dr. Tuesday evening, pointed a gun at the cashier and removed a cash drawer from the cash register before fleeing on foot.

Officers said the incident was reported at 9:08 p.m. and that the robber was last seen northbound on Morello Avenue. Martinez units checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as a dark skinned male approximately 20 years old wearing a green army jacket. The loss is unknown at this time. Anyone with information regarding this crime please notify Martinez Police Department at 372-3440.

  1. Before rushing to judgment, consider that most criminals come from lower-income families who, given Whole Foods pricing, suffer from what SJW’s call “Food Insecurity.” The perp here might have simply been trying to feed his family and didn’t want to poison them with McDonald’s.
