Two Arrested During Daylight Burglary Monday

San Ramon police reported the arrests of two men allegedly caught in the act of burglarizing a home on Rockcrest Circle Monday morning.

A police press release detailed events, saying things kicked off after a report of a possible burglary in progress in the 400 block of Rockcrest Circle at 11:50 a.m.

Two suspects were reportedly seen entering the residence and were thought to still be inside as the first officer arrived on scene, according to SRPD.  The first officer was on scene in less than two minutes, catching one of the intruders as he was exiting the front of the residence.

Lt. Denton Carlson wrote that as the first suspect was being detained, the second fled out the rear of the residence where he was caught by a perimeter unit as he attempted to leave in a vehicle. The suspects were found in the possession of the victim’s laptop and other items, according to police.

Both suspects were positively identified by witnesses. There were identified as Wahid Homayun, 20, of San Ramon and Noorullah Amiri, 20, of Dublin.  Both were booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on charges of First Degree Burglary and Conspiracy.

No injuries, to suspects or officers, were reported.

  1. San Ramon Police Department seem to catch a lot of burglars. Maybe they should be giving lessons to some of the other 24/680 Police Departments in the area on how to catch these crooks,
S.R.P.D.’s methods seems to be very effective.

Could they start with neighboring Danville please!
