Man Wanted For Lamorinda Burglaries Arrested In Antioch Thursday

From the Office of the Sheriff today:
Wanted suspect Alexander William Anderson was arrested this morning by the Office of the Sheriff Warrant Services Unit, J-Team and U.S. Marshals on El Capitan Lane in Antioch.

The 28-year-old Anderson was wanted in connection with a series of property crimes and an assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer in Lafayette. In that incident, Anderson rammed a Lafayette police vehicle while fleeing in a stolen car. A $175,000 warrant was issued for his arrest.

Anderson was arrested without incident this morning. He had changed his hair color and hid inside his home to avoid detection. He was located after Deputies conducted a thorough search of the residence. Anderson was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility. He is being held in lieu of $245,000 bail.

  1. Always interesting to see these guys dragged out into the light of day. Hard to believe they are capable of doing the harm they do to others. Sorry you’re going to go to jail bro but you took your chances and you lost right?
