A respectable but apparently benign 4.0 earthquake epicentered on the Hayward Fault near Fremont rattled crockery and nerves in parts of the East Bay early Tuesday but caused no apparent damage.
BART performed post-quake track inspections in the wake of the shaker, which was felt by residents in Lamorinda and elsewhere in the 24/680 Corridor, but all trains were running by the morning commute.
Anyone feel this one? In Moraga, it was described as shaking as much as a semi tractor-trailer driving past your house.
