Lafayette Police Reports: “You Auto Be A Car Burglar…”

It was a busy week in Lafayette last week as the men and women in blue ran from call to call and continued to experience a spike in the number of car burglaries and thefts from vehicles in their city.

LPD has launched its “Don’t Feed the Bears” information campaign in an effort to keep people from leaving so many items tempting to auto burglars in their cars – and there was at least one high-profile arrest, but it is clear we still have work to do:
