Lamorinda heated up a little last week, both meteorologically and on the crime front, as car burglars roamed our parking lots and alleys in search of loot. Lafayette police have been making arrests and have launched a “don’t feed the bears” anti-theft campaign in the city, but admit they are still busy chasing after and catching thieves who come here because the pickings are good.
