Danville police and Contra Costa County sheriff’s deputies, alerted by an alarm sounding from a home in the 200 block of Britain Court Monday, established a cordon around the residence and confirmed that forcible entry had been made but, apparently, found no trace of the burglar or burglars.
Police responded to the residence at 10:29 a.m. Monday and established a perimeter after reportedly finding evidence that a forcible entry had been made.
“No suspect was located despite a perimeter that was set up and the use of a police K-9,” Sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said. “Deputies are still trying to determine the value of items that were taken.”
