A 27-year-old Concord man is being treated for a head injury at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek after a strange accident on Moraga Way near Moraga Valley Lane Thursday evening.
Moraga Police Lt. Jon King said officers were called to the area at 8:36 p.m. Thursday after a caller reported a major injury accident at that location. Witnesses told police that a person had possibly fallen from a passing carĀ and was laying on the ground.
Moraga Police and Moraga-Orinda Fire Department units found that Jesse Wagner, 27, of Concord had suffered head injuries when he fell out of a silver Infiniti SUV that was being driven on Moraga Way.Ā Although the driver of the Infiniti stopped at the scene, he reportedly left before police and fire units arrived.
Wagner was transported to John Muir, where he is being treated for his injuries.Ā
