California Highway Patrol officers were investigating the discovery of a blue 4-door sedan found on its side well off the roadway at Pinehurst and Canyon Roads Friday morning.
The car was reported by a passersby at 7:48 a.m. and units responded, thinking the discovery may have been a recent crash. But Moraga police said the car has actually been in that location for some time.
The CHP was making plans to tow it out of that location.
That area used to be a popular dumping area for stolen cars. Still the case?
I used to drive Canyon a lot back in the day. Used to see a dumped car in there about every other mnth. The homies know they are hard to retrieve.
