Are you one of those talented folks who can craft recognizable visages – or an interesting form of any kind, actually – from virtually any medium? If you can, and you’re seeking exposure for your work, Danville is looking for you.
The town seeks sculptures for a rotating public exhibit at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery, located at 233 Front Street. This new program will offer sculpture artists an opportunity for more exposure and give under-talented admirers like us a chance to see what you can do.
Artists hoping to be considered should email photos of their qualifying sculpture work in JPEG format to Marija Nelson Bleier, Visual Arts Program Coordinator, at email@example.com, and they will be contacted with more information.
The Village Theatre and Art Gallery is open to visitors Wednesday through Friday noon to 5 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday by appointment only. The Art Gallery is closed on Sundays. Admission is free, and donations are appreciated.
For more information contact Visual Arts Program Coordinator Marija Nelson Bleier at (925) 314-3460 or firstname.lastname@example.org – and good luck.
