With the death of a Lafayette man at a Berkeley frat house still fresh in the headlines it appears the party scene rolls on in Moraga, where police were called to administer to an unconscious female partygoer on County Club Drive Monday and allegedly ended up being assaulted by a male guest.

Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Country Club at 11:15 p.m. after receiving a call from a woman concerned about a friend she felt had had too much to drink. Police located the unconscious juvenile and called for the fire department to assess her condition but met resistance from other juvenile partiers, who officers said ignored their commands to disperse, according to police logs.

The young lady in question went to the hospital. A young male guest was arrested for battery on a police officer and resisting arrest as police and partiers figured out who was boss that night. The teen was later released to the custody of a parent.
