Moraga police say a Campolindo student brought a brownie laced with marijuana to school Thursday, with five students each sampling a bite and one student reporting feeling ill.
Police were called to the school around noon Thursday after a student reported feeling ill. Some investigation by school officials determined that a marijuana brownie had been shared and police were notified, according to Police Chief Bob Priebe.
“…the school is dealing with them all,” Priebe said.
It was not known what punishment the student who brought the brownie – or the ones who ate it – might face as a result of eating the snack. A school official who asked to remain anonymous said the five knew what was in the brownie. The ill student did not require hospitalization.
