Quiet suburban landscape? Not lately, Danvillians, as local police run to calls reporting bombs bursting in air both real and threatened.
Here’s a breakdown of significant incidents handled by the men and women patrolling the mean streets of Danville last week. Pyrotechnics seem to be the order of the day as the Fourth looms – but at least one person dialed in a threat of an explosives device and don’t think local police don’t take these things seriously these days.
