Flash back to the peak of 1980s teen-don with a pair of films by legendary writer and director John Hughes presented by the Town of Danville.
The double feature will begin with “Pretty in Pink” 2 p.m., Sat., May 14, at the Village Theatre, 233 Front St., Danville. The story is written about teenager Andie who must choose between her childhood sweetheart and a rich but sensitive playboy; this film is rated PG-13. Following a 15-minute intermission, the second film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” will follow the story of a high school wise guy who is intent on taking a day off of school despite what his principal thinks; this film is also rated PG-13. These films may have mature themes and language; parental guidance is recommended.
