Idol Contestant Headlining WC Centennial Heritage Day

Walnut Creek, CA, Arts, Old Borges Ranch hosts American Idol contestant Matt Rogers for WC Centennial.

Matt Rogers, country singer and “American Idol” contestant is headlining Walnut Creek’s Centennial Heritage Day.

Rogers will perform at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Sat., May 17, at Old Borges Ranch, 1035 Castle Rock Road, Walnut Creek. Tickets are $7.50 (advance) or $10 (day of event) for adults, $5 for children (2-17), and include all entertainment, demonstrations, tours, and shuttle transportation. A small fee will be charged for craft supplies. There are no refunds on tickets. The first 150 ticket purchasers will receive VIP event passes for a special mid-day meet-and-greet event with the performer.

The day also includes performances by the Amigos de Anza Equestrian Drill Team; Ranch Days Costume Parade, where children will “parade” their favorite early 1900s ranch attire; music, dancing, farm animal demonstrations, pony rides, children’s games and crafts, tours and heritage home-arts demonstrations.
