Quilting For The Young@Art

The Village Theatre Art Gallery will be offering a “Young @ Art” program for children, ages 5 to 11, during the current art exhibition, “ARTful Women.”

This program is designed to introduce children to gallery exhibitions in a fun and educational way while stimulating creativity.

Budding artists will be able to view the latest gallery exhibition and learn about contemporary fabric art practices in a relaxed and kid-friendly environment, 3:30 – 5 p.m., Thurs., March 20, at the Village Theatre Gallery, 233 Front St., Danville. The art project portion will be led by local mosaic instructor Jean Cernigoj. Jean Cernigoj brings many years of experience and teaches both adults and children for the Town of Danville. She is excited to be able to interact with the children and work with fabric pieces that will tie into the current exhibit.

Registration is required and subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Fees are $12 for residents and $14 for non-residents. All materials are included.
