Walnut Creek police are searching for a man who entered the Rossmoor Bank of America Branch at 1200 Rossmoor Parkway Friday afternoon and robbed it of an undetermined amount of money.

In a release, Lt. Jay Hill wrote that the incident occurred as the bank was closing at 5 p.m., with a white male adult in his mid-20s, about 6′ tall, thin-medium build with a light brown goatee and wearing a long sleeved striped shirt with a dark collar and a baseball cap in a camouflage pattern.

Hill wrote that the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money and that once it was given, the suspect fled the bank on foot. A witness reported seeing someone matching the suspect description run to a nearby vehicle – described as a white car, possibly a Honda with tinted windows and tinted rear reflectors. No weapons were seen or simulated.

Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or knows the suspect is asked to call the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5844.
