Valley Art Gallery To Open New Fall-Inspired Show

Walnut Creek, CA, Arts, Valley Art Gallery to open new fall-inspired show.

The hazy, mellow days of fall are upon us and they’re the subject of a new show opening at the Valley Art Gallery.  “ARTFALL” features over 200 new paintings displaying bright autumn colors and vibrant images from Oct. 5 through Nov. 16. A free reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres is planned from 4-6 p.m., Sat., Oct. 5.

This semi-annual juried exhibition in 2013 features the work of local artist Nancy B. Hartley, whose graphic style and bold yet harmonious coloration are strikingly original.  In addition, there’s a huge variety of work from over 100 other Bay Area artists on the gallery’s thirty rolling walls.  Visitors can enjoy moving the walls and viewing the works at their own pace, or with the assistance of gallery volunteers; this extensive collection in different artistic styles, mediums and prices offers something for every art lover’s taste and budget.  The gallery also features a continuously changing selection of fine crafts and jewelry, all hand crafted by bay area artisans.
