Officers were called to a home on Corte del Caballo in Moraga recently after the homeowner said someone had entered the residence through an open window and made off with jewelry.
Moraga police were called out at 4:32 p.m. on May 30 after the resident discovered the loss. The resident told officers someone had entered the home between 5:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. through an open window and took the jewelry from a bedroom.
A dollar amount for the jewelry was not immediately available and police say they are investigating.
