Each year, the Danville Police Department works to strengthen its partnership with the community by hosting a Citizen’s Academy aimed at providing community members with greater insight into the workings of the department. The 2013 Academy runs six weeks from March through April and allows participants to better see things through the eyes of the Town’s police officers.
This multi-media series follows the 2013 Citizen’s Academy over its six weeks and shares the stories and the insight gleaned by students, as well as the passion and commitment of the Police Officers conducting the course. Video segments will be posted weekly in chronological order to allow viewers to catch up or re-view past segments after their initial posting.
