The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s office said a suspicious circumstances call led to an unfortunate discovery in Alamo Monday.
Sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said deputies responded to a call of men running from a residence to a car parked in the 200 block of Stone Valley Way in Alamo at about 5:30 p.m. A clear description of the men could not be given but the front door of the home they had run from was wide open, a caller reported.
Deputies cleared the house and determined that a burglary occurred. They were not able to locate the suspects and a viable description of the trio or their car could not be provided.
The sheriff’s office reminds residents that if they spot any suspicious activity or people, they should report their observations with as complete a description as possible to (925) 646-2441.
