A Walnut Creek man writes to remark on leaf blower etiquette, or lack of it, on Presidents’ Day.
If there was any day where I thought I could wake up to the smell of coffee from my kitchen and the sound of birds in the trees I thought it would be today.
On a day when America stops to honor its leaders what better day to hang the flag, take my coffee out to the front porch and enjoy the silence? Only today there was a salute for the presidents I did not expect. Leaf blowers. One after another starting at about 7:47 a.m. (yeh, I checked my watch) and still going strong. It is about to rain and these guys are still at it.
There ought to be a law.
