Colin Wiseman, a sophomore at Acalanes High School, died Jan. 3 at the Lafayette home he shared with his family. He was 15.
Active both with the Lamorinda Rugby club and local Boy Scouts, Colin was a popular student known for his quirky sense of humor and sense of fair play. A Facebook page built in his memory shows him in the green frog pajamas he wore to school one day to get a laugh from classmates.
Colin is survived by his parents, Graham and Caroline Wiseman, and his sister Nicole.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church, 49 Knox Dr., Lafayette. The family asks that contributions in Colin’s memory be made to the Contra Costa Crisis Center.
