The Rolling Stones, arguably the greatest rock n’ roll band that has ever heated up the blues, takes to the road again.
Last night’s kickoff to their 50th International Tour in London was given a rosy glow by appearances from Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor – who have a few stories to tell about life on the road with the thumpin’-est group of British boys to ever pick an American blues riff.
The addictions. The rehabs. The infidelities. This band did it all and with a flair tarnished by a front-stage murder at Altamont and the tragic death of one of its brightest members.
Here they are, still kicking… and here’s a clip of the boys back in the early 60s. Still Movin’ On.
