Be’er Sheva, Israel — Air raid sirens are common in Israel this week. A Moraga woman writes about the ongoing rocket battle over Gaza.
Moragan Ashleigh Edelsohn was living and working in Israel when the rockets started to fly from Gaza. She writes – and is filming – her life now as her Israeli friends and family adjust to life under rocket fire, and Israel responds with its “Iron Dome” and aerial counter-strikes against launch sites in Gaza.
“My goal is not to bombard you with posts about the conflict, but rather to give you a first-hand perspective about the situation over here,” Ashleigh wrote to News24/680’s Facebook page Tuesday. “I’m attaching a video showing exactly what it’s like to experience a rocket attack in Be’er Sheva. Please take the time to watch it; and remember that there are TWO sides to this story.”
