Danville — Mary Dawn Warner Cuff died peacefully of natural causes in her sleep in Danville on October 17, 2012. She was 93.
Born in Rexburg, Idaho, September 11, 1919, Mrs. Cuff was the first child of Harold Monroe and Mary Fern Morrison Warner.
Extremely literate and with an early interest in art and music, Mrs. Cuff earned a BSA degree from UCLA in Recreational Management, later a Masters in Audio Visual Instruction from Cal State LA. She served in the Marine Corps Women’s Reserve as a control tower operator during World War II, meeting and marrying Champ Thompson Cuff of Marysvale, Utah in California. They raised their four children in southern California, Champ predeceasing his wife on February 25, 2002.
Mrs. Cuff is survived by her four children: Claudia and Michael Scully of Mountain View, CA; Wendy and Bruce Darrington of Danville, CA; Steven and Lynne Cuff of Sandy, UT; Pamela and Richard Hartley of Orem, UT; 25 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren; a sister Marcia Rose Toomey of Burley, ID; and many loving nieces, nephews.
Funeral services were held October 27, 2012, in Utah.
